Use private on-device dictation to enter text in the focused app, then switch to Soren’s agent mode when the request should do more than type.

The shipping voice flow uses push-to-talk capture and local Parakeet speech-to-text. In dictation mode, Soren inserts the resulting text into the focused app through its dedicated dictation path.

Typing is a feature, not the product boundary

Dictation inserts text; it does not execute that text as an agent action. When a spoken request should operate an app or complete an outcome, the user switches to agent mode, where model-needed transcripts and context may go to the selected provider.
